Comments of the Participants of Carcinogenesis 2012

I was happy to speak in the Carcinogenesis 2012 as a key note speaker. It was a very exciting and impressive conference that focused on Carcinogenesis, cancer prevention and therapeutics. I am sure the conference will have a long lasting impact of the Carcinogenesis research community.

I was pleased to be the plenary speaker at the Carcinogenesis 2012 held in New Delhi, India from 19-12 November 2012. I was impressed with the quality of talks in the area of carcinogenesis and cancer prevention. I have been attending Conferences organized in India by Carcinogenesis Foundation for the last three years. I have noted that these conferences are growing larger with a greater scientific foundation. The presentations of scientific and clinical material has increased and I am pleased to be a part of these conferences. I attended and actively participated in the last three conferences in India organized by Carcinogenesis Foundation and I can see the clear progression in the quality of talks and panel discussions and debates on topics ranging from cancer prevention to clinical practice. Carcinogenesis 2012 is the first meeting of the Carcinogenesis Foundation that I attended. I was the co-chair of the local organizing committee of Carcinogenesis 2012. It was a pleasure to participate in carcinogenesis-2012. The conference was one of the few meetings which displayed a fine synergy of clinical and basic sciences covering different types of cancers. The students and faculty mixed well for exchange of ideas. Would be nice if sections devoted to translational medicine/research are included in future meetings. Wishing the “J of carcinogenesis” a great success.
